Balinese artisan Wirabhuwana contrasts the dark shine of the onyx stones with the elegant, detailed circle motif on the silver body of each earring, which shines like raindrops on leaves at midnight. A jewelry pouch inspired by the unique culture of Indonesia is included with these earrings. Each product comes with a special NOVICA booklet that helps to bring artisans and patrons closer together with a small bit of information about the creator of each piece and the inspiration behind the item. About the Artist Wirabhuwana (left), the artisan behind NOVICA Onyx .925 Sterling Silver Drop Earrings 'Midnight Spell', is the creator of many other unique, handcrafted jewelry items sold by NOVICA.'I'm Wirabhuwana, born in Celuk Sukawati, a town rich in tradition and arts. My mother said to always remember to live life without making others suffer, because helping others and making people happy will result in good karma and happiness in the future. I am proud to help my workers finish their schooling until they graduate from high school. They deserve to get a good education. Our family workshop employs about 15 people, including silversmiths. We use Balinese designs, like bun (vine motif) and jawan (silver bubble). We add our own embellishments to make our own unique creations.'
